There is no single best brand for everyone. Minelab, Garrett, XP, Nokta, Fisher, C.Scope and others all have strong models. The better question is which detector suits your ground, budget and experience level.
Not always. Premium detectors usually bring better features, lighter builds or stronger target separation, but a good mid-range machine in patient hands can still find plenty. Buy for your sites, not for the badge.
All three can be good beginner choices. Garrett tends to feel simple and rugged, Minelab is strong on multi-frequency performance, and Nokta often gives a lot of features for the money. The individual model matters most.
